The reverses of the coin is inspired by an episode of the myth of Andromeda. After being doomed to an early death at the hands of a sea monster, the beautiful girl was saved by Perseus, who fell in her. The design depicts an image of the beautiful Andromeda bound in chains and threatened by a terrible sea monster. The soft curves of the body and natural female seduction were perfectly been transmitted through High Relief in Antique Finish quality. At the bottom right of the reverse, the inscription: “ANDROMEDA” – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features a frame with stylized waves and a crab at its center. All around on the obverse, the inscription: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” – the issuing country, “2000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “2022” – the year of issue and “AG 999 2 OZ” – the fineness of the Silver and the weight of the coin.
